Dreams of 15 Local Organizations Come True
Through its Christmas grants, the CANPACK Foundation supported 15 organizations to make their smaller and bigger dreams come true - from hospices and special schools to homeless support groups, psychiatric wards, and day care centres. Thanks to this support, hospices received much needed equipment and supplies for patients and medical teams, including furniture, bedding, therapy materials, and fuel assistance. Children and young people benefited from creative tools, educational equipment, and therapeutic workshop materials that support both learning and emotional well being. Community centers and day rooms were equipped with appliances and resources that improve everyday functioning, while seniors gained basic household items that enhance dignity and comfort. We are glad that once again we supported local organizations that work closest to those in need.
Grant Program Empowers Local Action Worldwide
The Employee Grant Program is one of our most purpose driven initiatives, giving employees the opportunity to lead social projects that respond to real needs in their local communities. Operated by the CANPACK Foundation, the program provides support and structure for grassroots initiatives while helping participants grow leadership, teamwork, and project management skills. In 2025, the program received 41 applications from 9 countries. Funding was awarded to 31 volunteer driven projects, ranging from renovations of schools and community spaces to sensory gardens, workshops, training sessions, and initiatives supporting children, families, and vulnerable groups. In total, 443 volunteers dedicated 7,080 hours to support over 20,700 beneficiaries.Beyond tangible results, the projects strengthened community ties, engaged employees and their families, and reinforced a culture of purpose, empathy, and pride.
Educational Program: Finish Your High School
The Finish Your High School program helps young people in Colombia overcome academic challenges and complete their secondary education. Alongside daily homework workshops and meals, the program motivates students to continue their education and plan for the future. So far, 50 students have taken part, with 7 successfully graduating from high school. In 2025, the initiative has expanded to support 40 students in two groups - returning participants and new students needing academic support.
Supporting Teenagers Through Community and Care
We supported the community centre in Finland which was transformed from the old petrol station to become a communal space for more than 100 young people. The project provides regular individual and group activities for young adults such as martial arts, music, motorbikes or shared meals. The initiative helps prevent social exclusion, loneliness, and harmful behavior by building a sense of belonging and resilience. As a result, participants feel valued and supported, while the local community benefits from stronger social bonds and improved well being.
